NASA's Terrestrial Planet Finder

Jommy:
We've found hundreds of extra-solar planets in the past few years. Now that the probe has been launched, how
long or close are we to finding another
Earth?

probably very close. With millions of galaxies, that contain millions of stars, there have to be earth like planets with life out there.

At our current propulsion rate no one on Earth today will be around IF they ever find the answer to this question. The nearest star to us "Alpha Centauri" is over 4 LY away. Just getting to it would take over 1 lifetime.
