Invisibility paradox

I was just thinking about invisibility when this struck me and i thought of postin this here.

"ANY INVISIBLE MAN WILL BE BLIND"

A person can be invisible in 2 ways:
1. Light passes through him
2. Light bends around him

Both ways, light does not reach into his eyes. So??

Response1:
What u said is infact true in most of these tecniques for invisibility....
An invisible man is also blind...(this is quite famous) But there are some theoritical techniques , for example polymers which will absorb images from one side of a body and display it on another side....

Response2:
A person can be invisible in 2 ways:
1. Light passes through him
2. Light bends around him

y cant thre be another way?? lik he absorbs all the light tht comes to him and doesn't reflect any..

Response3:
guys the reason is quite obvious if we look things in this way:
1. invisibility requires that any light thrown on the object should pass throught it without any reflection.
2.human eye has a retina which reflects the light so that it can form a virtual image of any object it pursues.

invisible man doesnt hav any reflection of light (otherwise wud make him visible) so there is no chance of forming an image on his retina .....so he's blind

hope u understand this

What is Your Response?
